Bill Payment

Consolidated Rural Water Dist. 2 offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs. 

 

Security & Privacy: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. Your payment and personal information is always safe.  Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. We will not sell your information to anyone.

Refunds: All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of the transaction.

 

Online Bill Payment

In our efforts to better serve you, we now accept all major credit and debit cards.  Payment can be made using a credit or debit card online or over the phone, for a 2.5% + $0.75 fee. To pay your bill online you will need to know your account number (see example of bill at bottom of page - do not include your route as part of your account number) and the current amount due. For more information, Click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button, located above or at the bottom of this page. To pay your bill over the phone, please call our toll free number at (620)-224-2333. You can also enroll in automatic payments. This allows your form of payment to be automatically charged on the 25th of each month. There is a 2.5% + $0.75 convience fee with automatic payments. In order to enroll in autopay the full water account balance must be paid

Convenience fee

A convenience fee of 2.5% + $0.75 will be charged for all online, automatic, and phone payments.

 

Electronic Statements

We are now offering email and text billing statements! To enroll please visit the online payment website and follow the step by step instructions. 


Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.  


Payment Drop-off Locations

You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders.

You can also drop your payment and payment coupon off at Landmark Bank in Fort Scott, Kansas.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information. 

If you are using this option, please make sure your Rural Water account number(s) are listed in the memo line of the check.  This type of payment needs to be mailed to: Consolidated Rural Water #2, 715  215th Street, Fort Scott, KS  66701.
